Tiny in the way all dwarves are, Bomba stands out for being stockier and rounder than most of his kin. A black bowl cut tops his broad face and jutting forehead, and each elbow carries a sun-shaped tattoo. His clothing dips low at the collar to expose much of his chest, and he sports gold hoop earrings.

Once he joined Leo's pirate crew, an inked scar was added beneath his left eye.

His face usually settles into a stern look much like Rampo's. He shares the trademark naivety of his people, falling for trickery easily, yet he proves steadfastly loyal, standing up for Usopp's honor when Trebol mocked it.

Bomba most likely carries the same gifts as the rest of the dwarves, including remarkable strength, nimbleness, and a knack for growing any plant. His vice-chief standing hints at combat skill on par with Rampo, though the manga has never shown him fighting. Like his fellow dwarves he carries a spear, with his proficiency unconfirmed.

During the Dressrosa Arc, Bomba took part in capturing Usopp and Robin and bringing them to Tontatta Kingdom, then joined the dwarf rebellion against the Donquixote Pirates. He marched in Operation SOP, helping carry Usopp toward Sugar's tower and fighting through Trebol's interference, the transformation of comrades into toys, and the eventual collapse of the SMILE Factory. After Doflamingo's defeat, he saluted Kyros alongside the others.

Following the Straw Hats' departure, Bomba enlisted in Leo's newly minted Tontatta Pirates, helped rebuild Dressrosa, and later assisted in recovering Pound from a drifting Tartes vessel near Green Bit.
