Appearance

Rampo stands at the tiny stature shared by every member of his race. A drawn-out, pointed nose sits above a broad mouth whose lower lip juts forward. For clothing he favors a buttoned jacket in a dark shade, a pale scarf, boots and trousers that are likewise dark, the pants cut with an opening that lets his tail through. Crowning it all is an oversized hat bearing a dark v-shaped pattern, a style that recalls the headgear once worn by Absalom.

History

When Usopp and Robin were seized and carried into the dwarves' kingdom, Rampo and his fellows frisked Robin while she lay pinned to the ground, releasing her once she vowed not to harm them. They nearly stripped her for a weapon until Flapper revealed she was an ally of their hero. Soon the dwarves pressed Usopp to join their campaign against the Donquixote Pirates, and an entire army of them tunneled underground to the Riku Royal Army's base beneath Flower Hill, linking up with Thunder Soldier. Their goal was freeing the captive laborers and removing Sugar, whose fruit changed people into toys. He shows the heightened speed and strength common to dwarves, displayed when he and Leo swiftly stripped and floored two of Doflamingo's men, and he wields a move called the Tontatta Tail Hammer that can slam an ordinary person into the earth.

Once the operation launched, Rampo, Leo, and Bomba were among those ferrying Usopp through a hidden tunnel into the trade port, knocking out the men who spotted them. He then broke off with Thunder Soldier to strike at Doflamingo, riding a lift toward the palace where Lao G blocked the way. The dwarves pinned Lao G when Pica's clash with Luffy rocked the building, and Rampo urged Thunder Soldier onward beside Kabu. Gladius later intercepted Rampo and Kabu, catching them effortlessly and dropping them with his Devil Fruit before Kin'emon and Wicca recovered them.

After Doflamingo caged the island, Rampo's group rejoined Leo's at the trade port, then fled to the surface once the former toys turned hostile. Following a reunion with Riku Doldo III and Viola, Rampo headed to the SMILE Factory to support Franky. The enslaved dwarves there revolted after learning of Doflamingo's deceit, and once Senor Pink fell they demolished the factory and used its wreckage to shove the shrinking Birdcage back. When Luffy finally toppled Doflamingo, the dwarves wept with joy and later saluted Kyros. Days afterward, with the Marines pursuing Luffy's allies, Rampo stood beside Leo as the latter stitched the enemy warships together.
