Appearance

Bulky through the middle and standing fairly tall, Chiboust carries that weight on noticeably stubby legs. A blue garment swallows most of his frame, sparing only his hands and his face from view. Ringing his head is a crown of cylindrical pieces shaped like the spokes of a sun. Polka-dot sashes loop over both his shoulders and his middle, and jutting from his back is a curved grip of the sort found on a teapot or a cup.

Personality

Devotion to kin and crew defines him, which is why he readily joined the trap laid for Luffy at Cacao Island. Brutality does not faze him either. When his fellow pirate Pekoms turned on them using his Sulong state, Chiboust pitched in to tear at the mink's eyes and shut that transformation down.

History

Roughly an hour and a half ahead of Luffy's expected arrival, Chiboust gathered with siblings and underlings to seize Cacao Island, the plan being to pounce should the young captain slip free of the Mirro-World. As the appointed moment drew near, he braced alongside the rest of the crew for combat.

What emerged instead was Pekoms, dragging a bound Brûlée. The traitor reached for his Sulong power but was set upon at once, accidentally uncovering the hidden Luffy. Chiboust and several others pinned Pekoms and clawed at his eyes to halt the change, only for Germa 66 to break up the brawl. The Vinsmokes covered Luffy and Sanji's getaway, and Chiboust was left stunned when Brûlée announced that Katakuri had fallen.
