Diesel is a long-limbed pirate of the Longarm Tribe who serves Big Mom. Built around a railway gimmick, he sprints at blistering speed and ends up the unwilling pack mule of the Sanji Retrieval Team as they tear through the Mirro-World.
Towering yet spindly through the legs, Diesel pairs a thin frame with a tiny mustache. The eye is drawn first to the chimney-shaped hat perched on his head, which puffs out smoke, and to the pair of wheels mounted on either flank that he spins by hand when dashing, though they serve no real mechanical purpose. His tribal heritage shows in the extreme reach of his arms, each fitted with a second elbow joint.
For most of his appearances he favors a dark suit topped with an oversized pink bowtie, dark trousers, and a mask shading his eyes. That look changed once the Fire Tank Pirates dragged him to their hideout, where he was washed up and made to swap into a lighter outfit.
Devotion to Big Mom defines him. He slaughtered an entire workforce to bring her a batch of rare flour, and the moment Brulee was beaten he bolted off to deliver the bad news to his captain. His self-image rests on his foot speed, a subject he loves to boast about. In keeping with the cast's running gag of distinctive laughs, his own mimics a chugging locomotive, coming out as Shuppoppoppo.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Speed is Diesel's calling card. He insists he is an exceptionally quick runner, and the claim holds up, as he can break into a furious sprint. His strength matches it: he once hauled six passengers at once, among them a Heavy Point Chopper and the bulky fish-man Jinbe, all while moving at pace. He is no slouch in a fight either, having cut down a factory full of armed laborers with ease.
Diesel is a member of the Longarm Tribe who serves as a pirate under Big Mom. He is known for his railway-themed gimmick, sprinting at high speed while spinning the wheels mounted on his sides.
Diesel's main strength is his incredible running speed, backed by considerable physical strength that lets him carry multiple passengers, including a Heavy Point Chopper and the fish-man Jinbe, without slowing down. He also proved capable in combat, cutting down an entire mill's workforce with ease.
After Diesel spots the real Carrot hiding during an attempt to cook her in the Mirro-World, Carrot and Chopper defeat his group but spare him, then force him to ferry them and eventually Pedro, Nami, Jinbe, and Brulee across the Mirro-World.
True to the cast's running gag of distinctive laughs, Diesel's laugh mimics the sound of a chugging locomotive, written as Shuppoppoppo.
Three days before Sanji and Charlotte Pudding's planned wedding, Big Mom sent Diesel to a distant island to fetch rare flour for the ceremony, and he wiped out the mill's workers to complete the task.
