Appearance

Standing well over twice the height of an ordinary person, the creature is framed by bulging arms, stubby legs, and a head that looks small against the rest of its body. Dark gray skin runs with blue lines that trace the joints and muscle outlines, and ornate plating in black, gold, and red covers most of the figure. Rounded shoulder pieces carry swirl-patterned gold trim and a detachable gold emblem on each, while spiked knuckles cap the armored lower arms.

A golden cylindrical helmet pierced by four red eye slots sits atop its head, and long wild red hair spills from beneath a black-and-gold collar fitted with golden padlocks. Once it changes into the Evil Master Beast, it grows far larger still, nearing four times human size, taking on a hunched dragon-like stance with rock-gray hide, clusters of pink and red spikes, clawed limbs, a spined tail, and a large blue Orb joining its upper and lower halves so that the torso resembles a face.

Personality

Forged when the islanders poured their hatred into an Orb, the creature emerged already corrupted. One fixed purpose drives it, to keep every intruder off its island whatever the cost, and it chases that aim with merciless destruction.

Carried to an extreme, it brands everyone a threat, including the very people who made it, and would reportedly march beyond the island to wipe out all of humankind if left to its own devices. Having started as a statue of the island's guardian god, it regards itself as that god. After becoming the Evil Master Beast, rage swallows whatever reason it once held, reducing it to a wild animal that moves on all fours and speaks mostly in growls, forming real words only to name its attacks.

Abilities

The islanders saw the Evil Guardian as a being of overwhelming strength, and ancient ruins describe it as a danger to all of mankind. Its mere presence warped physics near its prison, bending space and pulling fallen rocks upward when its seals neared collapse. Powerful enough to snap the heavy chains binding it, it could set off tremors, drive shock waves through the ground, and hurl homing orbs of purple energy, orange waves, and lightning.

A semi-immortal nature let it endure a thousand years of confinement without food, though force could still kill it, and it could spawn a seemingly endless host of Majin Soldiers. Its glaring flaw was sluggishness, since it could only walk and never dash or dodge, allowing small quick foes such as Popora to slip past its grasp. Transforming into the Evil Master Beast erased that speed problem, vastly amplified its energy attacks, and granted the eerie ability to copy techniques drawn from its opponent's past enemies, reproducing moves like Enel's El Thor, Ace's Hiken, and Crocodile's Ground Death.
