Appearance
Gage is built broad and muscular, with a heavy square jaw, a pronounced underbite, and two lower teeth that jut upward past his lip. A jutting brow shades his narrow eyes, and his brown hair is cropped short. Over all this he wears the standard Marine uniform together with an officer's coat.
Personality
Hot-blooded and diligent, Gage throws himself into his work with fervor. That drive comes with a notable weakness, however: he has little talent for improvising when a situation shifts away from his expectations.
Abilities
His rank of Commodore grants Gage command over the Marines below him. In combat he relies on a fixed, mounted flamethrower that he is trained to operate. He is also a capable swordsman, and his skill with the blade is what earned him his rise through the ranks. Inside the events of One Piece Odyssey he held a post within the Tower of Justice, manning the flamethrower behind a soldier named Week. After the Straw Hats defeated Week, Gage stalled them, yet the crew slipped around his position and beat him as well. Within the Enies Lobby Memoria recreating the Whitebeard Pirates' assault, he again stood with Week and Guard past Barricade's ambush; once Whitebeard reached the Marine Admiral, the trio tried but could not stop the giant or his Straw Hat allies.
