The Germ Pirates are a pirate crew captained by Sukare Tainen. They first surfaced within the cover serial titled "Gang" Bege's Oh My Family, where they prey on a country whose ruler is absent.
True to the crew's name, several of its members are styled after disease imagery. Captain Sukare Tainen sports what looks like skull-shaped face paint, a nod to how dangerous certain germs can be, and the gloves he wears suggest the hygiene measures people take to avoid infection.
