At some earlier point Hewitt signed on under Bellamy and took up the role of the crew's cook. Beyond his kitchen duties, he was shown drawing a sword in the clash against the Saruyama Alliance, and as a cook he would have carried at least some culinary training. He took part in bringing down the Saruyama Alliance and was present when news of the bounties placed on Luffy and Zoro reached the crew. After Doflamingo punished Bellamy, Hewitt accompanied the pirates on their voyage to a Sky Island. What ultimately happened to him and the rest of the crew once Bellamy abandoned his captaincy to enlist with the Donquixote Pirates is never made clear.
