Himuro is a Wano samurai who began as one of Shogun Kurozumi Orochi's Mimawarigumi enforcers before circumstance folded him into the Beasts Pirates. A bit player on the antagonist side of the Wano Country Arc, he is eventually flattened by Hyogoro.
Towering and heavyset, Himuro has gray skin freckled with tiny spots, an effect that makes him look carved from stone. An oversized, egg-shaped bald head sits above broad earlobes, a bumpy nose, sagging eyes, and a perpetual scowl. His outfit pairs a plain beige kimono with dark green hakama, a green sash, a wide straw kasa, and purple sandals. The Mimawarigumi badge of office adds a white cloak with jagged black trim and a slim purple cord wound across his shoulders and chest.
Himuro treated his duty to the shogun with gravity and seemed to hold a measure of regard for Orochi. When Kaido lopped off Orochi's head, he looked shaken and voiced pity, yet he recovered fast and settled into his new allegiance without much fuss. During Kaido's ultimatum to the shogun's servants, fear left him visibly trembling.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Slotted among the Mimawarigumi's core fighters, Himuro is presumed competent in battle, though the manga never shows him swinging a blade; the anime alone arms him with a sword, which he turns on Hyogoro. After the Straw Hats wrecked Rasetsu Town following Yasuie's execution and fled, he joined the patrols tightening security across the Flower Capital. A week later he sailed with Orochi to Onigashima for the Fire Festival, advising his lord to hold off drinking until they reached Kaido's stronghold, counsel Orochi waved away. At the live stage, Kaido announced his New Onigashima Project, beheaded the protesting Orochi, and ordered the leaderless retainers to swear loyalty or die. After commander Hotei pledged the group to Kaido, Himuro briefly mourned Orochi then embraced his pirate role. When Queen loosed the Ice Oni plague and Apoo held the cure, Hotei sent his men to seize it. Hyogoro, infected and reverted to his powerful younger form, met Himuro and the Mimawarigumi head-on and cut every one of them down.
