Summary

Enraged that the intruders escaped, Orochi is assured by Fukurokuju that Law was at least seized, a capture meant to set the pirate alliance at each other's throats, while the Mimawarigumi and extra ninja sweep the streets and wanted posters go up. Perched on a rooftop, Shinobu warns Sanji that quitting the capital brings no real safety, yet notes they finished their errand of finding the crescent-moon-marked prisoners, and the pair stays fixed on a jailbreak. She points to lanterns being molded into Sky Ships for the Fire Festival, its preparations swelled by the recent deaths of Komurasaki and Yasuie.

At the city's fringe, Nami is relieved to find Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin freed and takes the altered secret message, recalling how Hawkins had loosed the three from his straw dolls once Law let himself be taken. Fearing for their captain, the Heart Pirates resolve to put his rescue first. Kanjuro carries Yasuie's body toward Kuri for burial, and Ashura leads Kin'emon's group to battered ships capable of ferrying thousands of soldiers.

Kanjuro plans Yasuie's funeral, and Ashura unveils a port of ships Kin'emon wants Franky to mend. On Onigashima, King proves to belong to an unknown race, Big Mom invites him into her crew, and after Kaido commands her chains struck off, the two Emperors clash and rend the heavens, with Kaido shown using Supreme King Haki.

Notes

The color spread is a One Piece: Stampede Dinner cover drawn by Eiichiro Oda. Napoleon had actually stayed awake the entire time, keeping quiet out of shyness while Big Mom was amnesiac. This is the second occasion of two Emperors colliding and splitting the sky, and Big Mom remarks that three races still exist in the world absent from Totto Land's people.
