Isa

Isa is a middle-aged Shandia woman with cropped brown hair. In the present she dresses in a long tan gown set off by a brown vest, with brown shoes on her feet, while in her younger years she favored a flowing brown dress dotted with red. Like everyone of her people, she has the small wings characteristic of the Shandia.

Above all Isa is a devoted mother. She tried to soothe her weeping daughter during a tense moment in the village, and when Enel's assault threw the Shandia into flight, her thoughts went straight to Aisa, worried sick that the girl had not come back.

Years before the present, Isa sat at home with Aisa and Raki as Wyper and Gan Fall fought outside, remarking to Raki that her daughter always wept when the village grew anxious, while Raki in turn asked her about Wyper's aggression. The two were close enough that Raki, who addressed her as aunt and may well have been her niece, confided her fear of Wyper to her. When Enel set out to wipe Skypiea from the sky, the Shandia village scrambled to evacuate, and Isa cried out to the chief that Aisa was nowhere to be found, taking what comfort she could from his hope that the girl had sheltered with one of the warriors.
