Her defining trait is an intense fangirl adoration of Nefertari Vivi. After lending the princess an outfit, she swore privately that the garment would stay forever unwashed. Colleagues describe her as hardworking with a hot-blooded streak, a reporter who throws herself into the job.

When the World Economy News Paper sheltered Vivi and Wapol, Chinode handed over one of her own outfits for the princess and was thrilled to see it worn, vowing never to clean it again.
