Jigoro

In his living years Jigoro looked the part of a middle-aged man, with sunken eyes, a long fall of black hair, and a small toothbrush mustache; one of his upper front teeth was gone. His neck sat thick on his shoulders, and as a reanimated corpse his head was bound in bandages, pierced by several nails, with some manner of bird fixed to the back of it. He dressed in a yellow shirt reading YOUR SONG, a band of red and black wound about his stomach above a heavy metal hoop pocked by two bullet holes at his hips, and wore sandals over black socks on a pair of hairy legs.

While alive he held a reputation for stubbornness, yet he cherished his family and battled hard to keep them safe. Carrying Zoro's shadow as a zombie, he at first took on Zoro's conviction that a scar across the back marks a swordsman's deepest disgrace, and he prized his own skill with the blade. In time, like every zombie who fulfills Moria's erasure pact, he shed Zoro's recollections of the Straw Hats along with his feelings and bent fully to his masters' commands, even ready to leap from a tower on order. Toward rival zombies such as Inuppe, though, he turned fiercely competitive.

During his lifetime Jigoro stood among the great swordsmen, credited with cutting down seven thousand pirates. Reborn as a General Zombie, he far outmatched the ordinary undead of Thriller Bark, and Zoro's shadow let him call upon moves drawn from both the Three Sword Style and its One Sword Style branch, among them Sanjuroku Pound Ho and Hyakuhachi Pound Ho. With these he overcame even Nico Robin, who conceded his strength, and his power let him tear himself loose from her Dieciseis Fleur grip. He fought with a trio of matching cutlasses. The borrowed shadow carried a flaw as well, leaving him with no sense of direction, so that he once marched the wrong way while moving to help Tararan. After Oars fell to the Straw Hats, Moria drew Zoro's shadow back out of him, and Jigoro became a lifeless body once more.
