Kiba

Kiba towers like other giants, roughly matching Saul in scale and dwarfing both the giant pupils and the Straw Hats. Long pale hair surrounds a bald crown, and two great tusks jut from beside his mouth above a flowing beard, the tusks rising from raised cheekbones edged with whiskers that give him a walrus-like cast. As principal he keeps that bald crown bare, wears round glasses, and dresses in a dark long-sleeved shirt with smooth shoulder pads. For battle he swaps to a warrior's gear with a skull belt buckle, fur trim, and spiked shoulder pads, trading his glasses for a horned helmet.

Kiba shares the Walrus School faculty's drive to keep its students safe and will fight to do so. Level-headed by nature, he struggled to accept that the pupils' deepest fears had taken physical form. His sharp instincts served him well, correctly deducing that the creatures overrunning Elbaph stemmed from a Devil Fruit power.

As principal, Kiba holds the top authority over the Walrus School's internal matters, with most teachers answering to him in emergencies. His past in the Giant Warrior Pirates marks him as formidable, though age has worn on him, leaving chronic back pain that has dulled his stamina and fighting edge. He fights with a huge warhammer that has a pair of tusks projecting from the back of its head, wielding it well against large beasts. He left the pirate crew at some point to head the school, founded at Harald's request. During the Elbaph Arc he protected the pupils from the Knights of God's constructs and struck the serpent Jörmungandr just before it could swallow Aegir, setting up Saul's decisive blow. He urged swift action to find the culprit behind the monsters, but Rimoshifu Killingham soon overwhelmed the school, slamming Kiba unconscious into the ground.
