History
At some earlier point Kumagoro bought from a pawn shop the schematics to Kaidou's fortress on Onigashima. When his unpaid rent climbed too high, his landlord Kobe claimed the documents to settle the debt. During the Wano conflict, Franky came searching for the plans, and Kumagoro told him that Kobe now held them. He went on to enjoy the Fire Festival in the company of Kobe, Kisegawa, Tokijiro, and Rakuda, the group dreaming aloud of the Kouzuki Family bringing down Orochi and Kaidou. As the celebration drew to a close, he remarked on the citizens preparing to send their lantern wishes up to their ancestors.
