Personality

Warm and devoted, Liberta carries a lasting fondness for the royal family she once served, having raised Scarlett as her wet nurse. She stayed on good terms with King Riku Doldo III, who trusted her enough to let her plant unfamiliar seeds on Flower Hill. Her cheerful surprise at discovering that God Usopp apprenticed under Heracles, the man who gave her those seeds long ago, shows how much hope she still pins on seeing them grow.

History

Years earlier, Liberta was handed strange seeds by Heracles, whom she affectionately calls Heracles-un, yet she could never coax them to sprout. While serving as Scarlett's nurse, she met the Riku family, and the young princess shared her wish to watch the seeds flower. Scarlett died before that could happen, the seeds still dormant. In One Piece Odyssey, Liberta crosses paths with the Straw Hats in Dressrosa and recognizes Usopp. Learning the seeds came from Heracles, he agrees to help and searches a bookstore for Heracles' guide to Boin Archipelago plants. He returns explaining the seeds need fertilizer made from Bo Bo Bird eggs and must be planted at night under moonlight. Liberta secures King Riku's permission to use Flower Hill, and the group plants them there. The seeds sprout into Ambling Stonecrops, which the Straw Hats promptly defeat.
