Olav is a young giant studying at the Walrus School on Elbaph and the grandson of Oimo. Caught up in the Knights of God's plot to abduct the island's children, he is dragged through one harrowing rescue after another during the Elbaph conflict.
Olav is a small boy whose face is broad and round. His outfit pairs a fur coat with black gloves and a belt fastened by a big circular buckle. Crowning him is an unusually styled helmet, fitted with a pair of horns and a crest on top that recalls the plume of a Roman helmet.
Sharing the values of his Walrus School classmates, Olav rejects violence and combat. That outlook left him with no fondness for the Giant Warrior Pirates, whom he dismissed as brutes, and his disdain reached even his own blood, since he looked down on his grandfather for belonging to that crew. Yet a rescue at the hands of the New Giant Warrior Pirates changed his tune, and he found himself thrilled to watch them clash with the Knights of God.
His bond with Oimo runs in an awkward direction. The old giant cherishes his grandson deeply, while Olav has openly held a poor view of him and his shipmates. Even so, when Oimo risked his life to save him, the boy was overcome with worry for him.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Olav and a cluster of Walrus School students first encountered the Straw Hat Pirates upon their arrival on Elbaph, greeted as well by the biology teacher Ripley. After the crew moved on, he played outside the school with classmates and later joined Ange's lesson, where the children spoke about what frightened them most.
He and eight other students were then placed into a magical sleep and lured off by the powers of the Knights of God, who meant to use the giants' children to pressure the adults into a coming war. Marched along a forest branch toward a fire Loki had set, the children were spared when Jinbe doused the flames. Roused from Killingham's sleep ability, they found themselves unable to move under the control of Gunko's arrow, learned from Colon that they were being kidnapped, and were terrified by an ambush of MMA creatures. Olav tried to convince himself it was all a dream, shutting his eyes and repeating the thought. Imu's appearance soon knocked the children out with a surge of Supreme King Haki.
Forced onward by the arrow, the children listened to Jarul declare war on the invaders and on the World Government itself. Near the coast, Sommers gloated that they would be shipped to Mary Geoise, but their guardians arrived to intervene, and a battle against a Nika MMA ended with the creature flung into Sommers and the ship capsized. The damage tore open the Sea Clouds, leaving a deadly drop, and with Gunko no longer in command the arrow kept pushing the children toward the edge. Horrified, Olav watched Oimo gravely wound himself trying to reach him, then embrace him through the thorns and fall with him; the pair landed safely on Loki's back beside Luffy below.
In the Western Village, Sommers pursued them, bent on punishing the guardians, and Olav stepped forward with the other children to defend their protectors before Zoro, Luffy, and Loki put Sommers down and freed them from the thorns. When the corrupted Giant Warrior Pirates showed up to kill Jarul, Olav was eager to witness his elders fight but was ushered indoors for safety. Imu's later arrival on Elbaph knocked the children unconscious once more, and after the demons were defeated, Sommers and Killingham made a final play, summoning an MMA Rain God to flood the village and recapture the children for extraction.
Olav, a young giant, was put into a magical sleep and kidnapped by the Knights of God, who used him and other Walrus School children as leverage. He was later saved when Oimo shielded him during a fall and Luffy, in Gear 5, rescued the children.

Olav initially looks down on the Giant Warrior Pirates as brutes, including his own grandfather Oimo for belonging to that crew, though he later grows excited watching the New Giant Warrior Pirates fight the Knights of God.
When Olav was dragged toward a deadly drop under the Knights of God's control, Oimo sacrificed his own arms trying to free him and then embraced him to fall together, until Luffy in Gear 5 rescued them both.
The Walrus School is where Olav studies on Elbaph, and its students, including Olav, are taught to reject violence and combat.
