Saint Pluming is a World Noble of Mary Geoise who first appears during the Revolutionary Army's strike on the holy land. Spoiled, cowardly, and casually cruel to the slaves he owns, he embodies the entitlement of his caste.
Two oversized buckteeth, the only teeth in his upper jaw, stand out on Pluming's face, which is also marked by heavy eyebrows and a thin, drooping mustache. His light hair is worn in a bobcut that rises into the customary World Noble topknot. His real power comes from his status rather than his fists. A World Noble may act however he likes, and anyone who crosses him can be marked for death by an Admiral, whom Pluming is entitled to call down on whoever he feels has slighted him. When Revolutionary Army commanders broke into Mary Geoise during the Levely, Pluming was among the nobles scrambling to flee. He had a slave in tow and threatened to shoot the man for being too slow, but Karasu snatched the gun away and set the slave loose before any shot was fired. Pluming then barked at the nearby agents to do away with Karasu. The extended anime cut of his debut shows him fleeing and shrieking once those agents are beaten, underscoring his gutlessness.
