Sarutobi

A towering figure with tanned skin, Sarutobi sports a long, untamed mane of pale hair. Concealing his face is a purple mask shaped like a gorilla, fitted with round red eyes and a pair of horns up top. He drapes himself in a blue kimono left open at the chest, where netting covers part of his skin, and ties it off with a red sash and a yellow scarf.

For as long as Orochi appeared to live, Sarutobi stayed loyal to the shogun as one of his Oniwabanshu. He proved easily spooked, swallowing the idea that Brook was a malevolent spirit and panicking when the pirate's detached soul confronted him, certain he was looking at the Gashadokuro.

In keeping with the rest of the Oniwabanshu, Sarutobi commands formidable stealth, slipping up behind Nico Robin together with his whole unit without being noticed. His arc began with O-Robi prowling through Orochi Castle, where Sarutobi and the other Orochi Oniwabanshu materialized silently behind her. Daikoku spotted her, but Robin and her companions managed to slip away. After Shimotsuki Yasuie's execution, the Oniwabanshu joined the fight against the Straw Hats, only for Sarutobi, Chome, and Bishamon to flee in terror from Brook's floating spirit, which they took for the Gashadokuro. Days later, during the Fire Festival, the group escorted Orochi to Onigashima, where Kaidou seemingly slew the shogun and Fukurokuju swore the Oniwabanshu's loyalty to the Emperor and his crew.
