Stainless

Tall and sturdily built, Stainless comes close to the 8'3" frame of Momonga. The handlebar mustache he sports is what sets him apart most. He wears his black hair swept backward with a scalp lock, combed more tidily by the time of the assembly at Mary Geoise. His dress matches that of other senior Marines. For the discussions about Luffy and, afterward, Crocodile's replacement, his suit was purple, striped at the first gathering and plain at the second. Come the great battle, his shirt was dark red, paired with a tie of orange beneath striped yellow-and-black tailoring, and over it all his Marine coat hung off his shoulders in the manner of a cape.

The strong commitment to justice common among Marines runs in Stainless too. Doflamingo and his conduct sit poorly with him, all the more so after the pirate seized control of a fellow officer and turned him into a weapon against Stainless, leaving both vice admirals shaken and bewildered.

When the Marines convened at Marineford to weigh Monkey D. Luffy's growing notoriety, won in the East Blue once he had toppled Arlong, Stainless took the seat beside Cancer. He afterward sat in on a meeting at Mary Geoise convened to name a fresh Warlord once Crocodile had been struck from the roster. There Doflamingo took hold of Vice Admiral Mozambia and set him to choke Stainless, who grappled with the man without grasping the cause until Sengoku arrived and broke it up.

When Ace's execution was made public, Stainless responded to the summons to bolster Marineford and stood with Vice Admirals Tsuru and Cancer as the Warlords were briefed. Throughout the Summit War he ranged alongside his fellow vice admirals against the Whitebeard Pirates, directed his men to guard the bay as Little Oars Jr. forced his way into the plaza, and took a place by Momonga to blunt the last push toward Ace. After Whitebeard had died, he looked on as the Blackbeard Pirates draped themselves over the corpse, puzzling aloud about their intent.

Once the Warlord system was done away with, Stainless brought his fleet against Buggy's Delivery only to be overpowered when Crocodile, backed by Daz Bonez, tore his ships apart. Back at Marine Headquarters after that defeat, he was on hand as Vegapunk's message went out to the whole world.
