Uni

Uni is a tall figure crowned with puffy pale hair, which the anime instead colors dark brown. A gray bandana striped vertically in black masks his entire face and runs down as far as his upper chest, so it stays uncertain whether his eyes carry visible irises. Matching the rest of his crew, he is dressed in the white boiler suit on whose left breast the Heart Pirates' emblem is stitched.

Alongside Ikkaku and Clione, Uni stood against the proposal to ally with the Straw Hat Pirates, brushing off their aid as pointless, though the trio found themselves outvoted.

About a month before Law forged his alliance with the Straw Hats, Uni and his crewmates put in at Zou and were kept under Nekomamushi's eye. They sided with the Mink Tribe when Jack led the Beasts Pirates onto the island in pursuit of Raizo, with Uni swinging a polearm. He greeted his returning captain warmly, took part in the celebrations on Zou, and then shipped out for Wano aboard the Polar Tang. Through that campaign he met up with the crew in Ebisu Town while Law sat captive, regrouped for the Onigashima raid, and produced a pair of daggers once Momonosuke emerged as a full-grown dragon. The crew afterward fished a drowning Luffy out of the water. In the Egghead chapter, the Blackbeard Pirates set upon the Heart Pirates near Winner Island, where Uni and his fellows were hit with Doc Q's feminization sickness until Law reversed it.
