A Threat Descends - The Beasts Pirates, Jack!

Reunited with his Heart Pirates in the Whale Forest, Law slips away with them to catch up. Meanwhile Wanda escorts the Straw Hats toward Duke Inuarashi through the Rightflank Fortress, where glowing ceiling plants light the way. After retrieving Luffy, who has wandered off to eat grapes, Wanda explains that the minks normally live in the once-thriving Kurau City rather than the fortress. She then recalls the catastrophe of seventeen days earlier, when the rarely heard Raid Bell rang out and an unknown force battered down the dukedom's gate.

The invaders surged into the city, revealing themselves as the Beasts Pirates, with a massive mammoth named Jack, one of Kaidou's three Disasters, at their head. They demanded the Wano ninja Raizo, but the minks denied knowing him or his whereabouts. When Monjii offered to let Jack speak peacefully with the Duke, Jack answered by smashing buildings with his trunk and unleashing his Pleasures. A frightened young mink struck back with Electro, inspiring the others to repel the soldiers, and Monjii declared the minks born warriors who defend their homeland without hesitation. Refusing any negotiation, Jack ordered his beast-like Gifters to advance.

In the present the Straw Hats are stunned by the account, with Luffy thrilled by the mammoth and Brook explaining why he forbade mention of samurai or Wano Country. The anime adds peaceful scenes of mink life, the gate being broken on screen, Bariete losing his hat, and the Gifters trampling fallen Pleasures, among other touches. Jack's Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth and several Heart Pirates make their debuts.
