Shuron Hakke! The Lawless Dragon Closing in on Luffy

Kaidou takes up a liquor-fueled martial form known as Shuron Hakke, turning the rooftop bout against Luffy into a far steeper challenge. Over at Mary Geoise, the Five Elders weigh the unfolding crisis and speak of a fruit that has slept for hundreds of years, one the World Government deliberately renamed, right as Zunesha reaches the shores of Wano.

With the rooftop fight raging, Momonosuke battles to swing the island away from a Flower Capital whose people drink, dance, and loose wish-lanterns into the night, one of them carrying Toko's wish to see her guardian again, which wounds Hitetsu deeply. Kaidou drags out a sake barrel and gulps freely, insisting it is all for fun and grumbling that Luffy spoiled the planned Fire Festival feast. When Luffy lunges, the now-drunk Kaidou slips aside and lands Lightning Hammered: Ragnaraku, then wails and lurches in dragon form while still trading blows, until a kick to his belly leaves him coughing blood. At Mary Geoise the Elders brand this year's Levely cursed, recalling the abolition of the Warlords, the Arabasta incident, and the Revolutionary breach, then turn their focus to Wano, expecting CP0 to have seized Robin and raising the need to wipe out a certain Devil Fruit, which one dismisses as mere myth, though the renaming hints otherwise. Off the coast, a Marine lookout spots an island-sized shadow as Zunesha trumpets behind the waiting fleet.

Kaidou debuts Shuron Hakke and Gundari Ryuseigun while Luffy unveils Gomu Gomu no Roc Gatling in this Wano Country entry. Added beats include Momonosuke towing the island clear, Toko sharing her lantern wish with Hitetsu, Kaidou's dragon forms taking on a darker hue at his first Shuron Hakke, and the Elders listing the Levely disasters.
