Time to Depart - Wano Country and the Straw Hats

Luffy ascends the mountain that once held Kuri Castle, the Nine Red Scabbards at his side. Bowing to Oden's memory, the group pledges to bring Wano back to the state it knew before the Kurozumi clan took hold. They then see the Straw Hats off as the crew readies its voyage, and Carrot adds her own parting words before turning toward the Mokomo Dukedom.

Elsewhere, Toko and Hiyori join Zoro as he pours liquor at the resting places of Pedro and Yasuie. There he resolves to keep building his power until he can wield Enma as completely as Oden once did. Over at Tokage Port, Franky goes to Minatomo for repairs on the Thousand Sunny, only to discover the vessel is already in perfect order.

Within the Flower Capital, Usopp picks up some cloth, and the last of the Special Soba runs out under Sanji's hands while Some and Chuji stop by. With Okobore Town under reconstruction, Luffy drops in at Tsuru's tea house for a bowl of oshiruko and bids Tama farewell, leaving the girl behind. Back at Tokage Port, the crew waits on Momonosuke and Kin'emon to arrive so the departure can begin.

This entry is a filler built around the crew bidding farewell to nearly every ally and Wano companion, with Kin'emon, Momonosuke, and Yamato set aside, a beat Hiyori had alluded to in chapter 1056. The anime shows Chopper handing Bepo a special Sulong drug, something the manga kept hidden until the chapter in which Bepo later relies on it. Usopp's purchase of black cloth connects to the Jolly Roger that would be sewn for Momonosuke in chapter 1057. The episode belongs to the Wano Country Arc.
