The Entrusted Message! King Cobra's Resolve

Outraged that Imu has claimed the throne meant to stay empty, Cobra listens as the figure explains the D initial: those who carry it descend from a faction that once banded together to oppose the World Government. The foes of the First Twenty, along with many Ohara scholars, all bore the letter. Imu adds that Lili's deeds during the Void Century scattered Poneglyphs across the world, a lasting headache for the government, and wonders aloud whether she did so by accident or by design.

The Five Elders draw their weapons, set on killing Cobra for having seen Imu. Resigned to his fate, he discloses that his ancestor's full name was Nefertari D. Lili, marking her as a bearer of the Will of D, whereupon Imu skewers him with a spear-like appendage. Sabo, who had been eavesdropping, rushes in to rescue Cobra and strike at Imu with his flames. A Den Den Mushi snaps photos of him beside Cobra's body, and the Elders shift into awakened Zoan forms. Too slow to escape with the king, Sabo is pierced as well, and Cobra gives his life so Sabo can flee, entrusting him with a message for Luffy and Vivi that the whole Nefertari Family carries the name D.

Wapol, watching through a hole in the wall, panics at having glimpsed Imu and chews through walls until he stumbles into the room where Vivi sits bound. CP0 confesses they meant to make her disappear alongside her father and sell her to a Celestial Dragon, but Wapol's tunneling lets Vivi sneak out inside his mouth. As the two escape, Wapol's wife Kinderella fumes at the sight of him with another woman. The episode debuts Sabo's Otebisha technique, with a bonus appearance by Nefertari Cobra.
