Episode 1151 of One Piece sees Luffy feast his way back into Gear 5 and inspire Bonney to awaken a Nika-style form of her own. As they work to drive the Elders off Egghead, Emet the Iron Giant rises from the sea to shield the giants' burning ship.
Luffy's party boards the Great Eirik and reunites with Oimo and Kashii's group, and Bonney turns Bluegrass and Doll back into children. Mars, the only Elder able to fly, swoops onto the ship and sets it ablaze, but Luffy devours a huge meal to reignite his Gear 5 while the giants dance to the Drums of Liberation to beat back the flames. Watching them move the way Kuma once did, Bonney is moved to develop her own Nika-based transformation, and far below the surface Emet senses their glow.
With most attacks useless against Mars's immortality, Luffy seizes the Elder's wings to pin him and orders his crew to strike him rather than Mars; the combined force flings Mars skyward and buys time to escape. Atlas departs to check on Usopp's group as the broadcast carries on. Ju Peter then spits out debris and CP0 agents before trying to vacuum up the Great Eirik, prompting Luffy to leave the ship and knock him down as before. When Warcury advances on the vessel to attack, the Iron Giant, now revealed by name as Emet, bursts from the ocean and assails him.
