A Farewell to Arms! Pirates and a Little Justice

The people's rage has faded, yet they will not at first accept Vivi's word that the long ordeal is over, still convinced King Cobra had attacked Nanohana. Chaka orders the Royal Army to stand down, and Igaram appears, presenting Kappa, the child supposedly wounded by soldiers in that town. Kappa testifies to the treachery Crocodile and his organization carried out and to how Mr. 2 Bon Kurei had passed himself off as the king, at which point the crowd lays down its weapons for good.

In the streets Cobra carries a battered but living Luffy, telling the crew the boy somehow found the strength to drag both him and Robin up to the surface and even secured an antidote to the poison. As the Marines arrive, Tashigi announces that her men confiscated Baroque Works vessels loaded with rain-inducing Dance Powder and tied the cargo back to Crocodile. She revokes his standing among the Seven Warlords and arrests the unconscious man, while every other agent is finished save Mr. 2, who escapes through Alubarna.

Down on the coastline, Smoker faces an accusation from Hina that he had relied on the Dance Powder himself. He answers that he knew the king had tried to spare the country its use and refused to spoil that, asking her instead to take the rainmaker ship and the prisoner to Headquarters. Tashigi tells her own unit to look the other way as the crew slips off. That evening at the palace, the recovering pirates rest while Igaram honors the bravery of Pell. The following day Tashigi delivers Crocodile to Smoker, ashamed that she helped pirates and unsure where true justice lay; Smoker offers no comfort, telling her only to grow stronger. When Marine Headquarters credits the pair with the capture, hands them promotions, and moves to bury the crew's part in it all, Smoker furiously throws the offer back at the World Government.

The episode introduces Hina and debuts the location of Tamarisk. A continuity slip has Vivi descending the clock tower in wedge sandals that had been broken several episodes earlier. It belongs to the Arabasta Arc and aired in English regions as All the King's Men.
