Festival on the Night Before Gold Hunting! Feelings for "Vearth!"

The crew gears up to locate the City of Gold. Sanji readies the cooking while Zoro, Chopper, and Robin forage for ingredients, Usopp patches the ship, and Nami maps the plan. Gan Fall, still mending from his wounds, rests nearby. When the group gathers, Nami shares a hunch about where the city may lie, and Chopper recounts the giant South Birds that saved him and addressed Gan Fall as God. Luffy, assuming it is the same God, asks whether Gan Fall is the one he must beat, prompting a comic denial from Usopp.

In the Shandia village, Raki blames herself for Kamakiri's injury. Luffy, Usopp, Zoro, and Sanji set out to build a campfire and are confronted by a wolf pack convinced the pirates mean to seize their land. Nami decks the pack leader and clears up the misunderstanding before the fire is lit and the celebration begins.

Gan Fall wakes, and Zoro thanks him for protecting Chopper and the Going Merry. The former God then asks if the crew knows how Upper Yard earned the name Holy Land. Wyper, still bitter, accuses Raki of letting thoughts of Vearth distract her in battle. Gan Fall explains that sky clouds cannot sustain plant life, making Vearth the deep longing of every Sky Island dweller. Kamakiri adds that the warriors must press the fight in order to win back their ancestral home.
