Pirate Abduction Incident! A Pirate Ship That Can Only Await Her End!

Sanji and Chopper row back empty-handed after failing to locate Robin, wondering aloud whether her absence ties into Aokiji's earlier warning. They agree she will surface at the ship if she is safe. Meanwhile, the shipwrights confirm that the Merry's spine, her keel, is wrecked beyond repair. Luffy and Nami beg for a replica, but the carpenters explain that lumber differs island to island, so only an entirely new vessel will do.

As officials arrive to meet Iceburg, the two Straw Hats slip out of sight. Hefting the suitcases, Luffy notices two feel oddly light; opening them reveals that 200 million berries have been stolen. He bolts off vowing to recover it, while Nami asks directions toward the thieves' base.

On her way, Nami stumbles across Usopp, bruised and slumped on the pavement, blaming himself for losing the money and dreading the crew's reaction. She urges him to wait while she returns the remaining cash to the ship. Once she leaves, Usopp drags himself to the enemy hideout instead. The Franky Family is mid-celebration over their haul when their door bursts apart, revealing Usopp standing there with his slingshot raised.

Several characters debut here, among them Corgi, Franky, Mozu and Kiwi, Dago, Ottoland, and Footbianco, alongside the first look at the Franky House. The episode also features the wry irony of Nami, a former thief who robbed pirates, scolding the Franky Family for stealing from pirates.
