Come Back, Robin! The Confrontation with CP9

Luffy and his companions plead with Robin to rejoin them, but she turns them down, insisting her own goal cannot be reached while she travels with the crew. As she moves to depart, Luffy lunges after her, only for the CP9 operatives to wall the pirates off. Robin makes her exit through a window and vanishes. With their quarry gone, the agents reveal the terrifying scale of their power, and Lucci ends the episode by shifting into a far larger form that stuns everyone watching.

Paulie reels at learning his trusted friends serve a secret arm of the World Government. When he hurls Pipe Hitch Knives, Lucci slips aside with Soru and drops him with Shigan, then explains how the Six Powers forge the body into a living weapon. Luffy attacks repeatedly, but Tekkai turns his Gatling aside and a Shigan to the neck only fails to kill him because of his rubber body. Robin pins Iceburg with her sprouted limbs after he condemns her. Lucci announces the building will be torched in two minutes and that no one inside will be permitted to leave alive.

Blueno blocks Luffy with Tekkai and dodges through Kami-e, while Kalifa and Kaku knock him back with Rankyaku. Zoro clashes blades with Kaku, who insists his grim verdict on the Going Merry was accurate, before Shigan strikes drop the swordsman. Lucci catches Luffy, lets Robin escape, and then transforms via the Neko Neko no Mi, Model Leopard. This is the final episode to use Eternal Pose as its ending theme, and Chopper's second eyecatcher debuts here. The story adapts chapters 347 and 348.
