Summary

News of Rob Lucci's loss rattles the Buster Call fleet, who shudder at what the Straw Hats might be capable of. Buoyed by the victory, the pirates and Franky press toward escape, only to learn that the bombardment has not killed their allies after all. Paulie's rope net and the giants Oimo and Kashii absorbing the blast spared the Franky Family and the Dock 1 shipwrights. As the Marines refocus their fire on the motionless Luffy, the crew finds itself stranded on the second column, cut off from their captain.

Key Events

Usopp keeps catching a familiar sound and finally pins it down, urging everyone to leap into the ocean despite the danger that water poses to Luffy, Robin, and Chopper. Robin lifts Luffy off his column using Cien Fleur: Delphinium, and the whole crew jumps. Waiting below to receive them is the Going Merry, returned against all odds. Sanji had earlier pulled Chopper, Kokoro, Chimney, and Gonbe off the escape ship before the Marines destroyed it.

Notes
