Summary

The adaptation inserts a sequence depicting Mr. 3 slipping clear of Aokiji's strike and worming into an underground base within Marineford. Once the commanders gain the plaza, the leap from the ship belongs to Pandaman rather than Palms, and the manga's beat of Epoida hoisting his swords is dropped. Several continuity errors crop up as well, among them an aerial view of the bay that still presents a largely whole Moby Dick even though it had burned in the prior episode.
