Madam Shyarly is a shortfin mako shark mermaid who lives on Fish-Man Island, where she runs the Mermaid Cafe. The younger half-sister of Arlong, she once worked as a fortune teller before setting that gift aside, and her prophecies are renowned for never having proven wrong.
Shyarly is a sizable mermaid who wears purple polish on her nails and red lipstick, with blue eyes whose slanted pupils call to mind a shark's gaze. Anger gives those eyes a sinister cast and bares her sharp teeth. Black hair, kept short, drapes over the right half of her face. Her tail runs dark blue, fitted with a dorsal fin where her upper and lower halves meet, a white patch beneath it, and a crescent-shaped caudal fin. She typically dons a hooded purple blouse fastened only at the middle, leaving her midriff and cleavage exposed, along with a chain about her waist, and a pipe is frequently in her hand.
Warm-hearted by nature, Shyarly offered the visiting Straw Hats a spare room to nurse Sanji even though they had beaten her brother, and she granted Camie time off to spend with friends. Coarse or crude behavior bothers her, and she flew into a rage when Luffy asked whether mermaids defecate, though the temper faded the moment he apologized. She regards her gift of foresight as a heavy weight, since most of what she sees is grim, and so she holds that the future is best left a mystery. Despite quitting, curiosity drove her to peer into Luffy's fate, and the vision of a straw-hatted man destroying the island sent her into a panic. Unlike Arlong, she harbors no blanket hatred of humans, urging the island's children to judge by their own eyes rather than by hearsay.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Left behind by her father in her early years, Shyarly grew up under the care of Arlong, then a teenager, within the Fish-Man District. By the age of three she foresaw the eventual birth of the Mermaid Princess and informed Gol D. Roger it would occur within a decade, and at four she predicted the dawn of the Great Pirate Era, which arrived a year afterward. She also accurately called Whitebeard's death and the outcome of the war at Marineford. When the Straw Hats reached Fish-Man Island, she lent them the back room of her cafe for Sanji's recovery, then glimpsed a straw-hatted figure razing the island and rushed into the streets demanding the crew be driven off.
Once Hody's New Fish-Man Pirates seized control, Shyarly faced Hody Jones directly and calmly declared that Luffy, not Hody, would be the island's destroyer, an assertion that enraged him into striking her down with a water shot. Once the conflict was settled, she shattered her crystal ball, vowing never to read the future again and hoping her final prophecy about Luffy would prove false.
Madam Shyarly is Arlong's younger half sister. She grew up under his care in the Fish-Man District after their father left her behind as a child, though unlike him she holds no hatred of humans.
Madam Shyarly correctly predicted the birth of the Mermaid Princess, the dawn of the Great Pirate Era, Whitebeard's death, and the outcome of the war at Marineford. Her final and most troubling vision showed a straw hatted man, Luffy, destroying Fish-Man Island.
Madam Shyarly is warm hearted rather than evil. She sheltered the Straw Hats to nurse Sanji even after they had fought her brother, gave her employee Camie time off, and taught the island's children to judge humans for themselves instead of hating them on sight.
Madam Shyarly is 29 years old. She is a shortfin mako shark mermaid who runs the Mermaid Cafe on Coral Hill, Fish-Man Island.
Madam Shyarly gave up fortune telling because she found the weight of foresight too heavy, since most of what she saw was grim. After Hody Jones struck her down for predicting Luffy would destroy the island, she shattered her crystal ball once the conflict ended and vowed never to read the future again.
