Summary

Shaking off the fall and the KYP gas, Sanji's group reconstructs the ambush. A flashback follows them trailing giant footprints that Brook hopes belong to the fabled yeti, right up until the Yeti Cool Brothers spring out, hit them with stupefying rounds, and shear away the cliff beneath them. With the last of his awareness, Zoro cuts through the icicle-laden plateau and saves all three from the spikes waiting below. A retrieval squad finds them down in section F-16, where Sanji grabs one soldier's leg and crushes the entire party, careful because Nami's body breaks far more easily than his own, then rouses Zoro and Brook with knocks to the head.

Key Events

Pressing on, they trip over the frozen samurai and shatter the ice off his head. He explains that his Devil Fruit denies him the ability to swim, and right now his lost torso feels as though it has sunk underwater. The others work out that the torso slid into the saltwater lake and reason that, because he still senses it, the sharks have left it whole, so they decide to fetch it. Moved by the gesture, the samurai thanks Sanji, who shrugs it off as duty and promises to thrash him once their bodies are set right. They then catch sight of the fleeing Centaur Patrol Unit, driven off by the thing at the lake, while Zoro overlooks the towering new mountain standing there.

Notes

Inside the lab, Caesar discloses that Slime is the very agent behind the catastrophe four years back; rather than cleansing the toxic gas, he only compressed it into Slime, a horror that rested in his palm the whole time. Behind the building, Law and Chopper warp into one of his Rooms, and Law sets Chopper on the drugs while he plots how to draw Caesar and Monet outside, conceding that a particular problem keeps him from grabbing them himself. Screaming overhead heralds Luffy, Robin, and Franky smashing into the ruined Marine ship; Luffy roars for Master to step out, vexing Law with the spectacle and shocking Smoker's G-5 unit. A note flags that the earlier episode arranged the three pirates differently while they pictured the yetis.
