The 635th One Piece episode reunites Luffy with Bellamy at the arena. The Caesar escort team is warned away from Green Bit, CP0 arrives in Dressrosa, the Sunny guards hear an eerie noise, and Bartolomeo storms into the colosseum.
Rattled by Jesus Burgess's strength, Franky gets up to attend to his job, but Thunder Soldier insists on coming with him, which grates on the cyborg. Over at a northeastern cafe, Law's handover group inquires about Green Bit and is urged to avoid it, since lethal fighting fish ring the place and not one traveler who crossed the iron bridge there has ever made it back. Caesar and Usopp beg Law to shift the drop location, yet he declines, troubled more by how calmly the public has taken their king's resignation. That worry is cut off when CP0, the planet's mightiest intelligence service, suddenly shows up.
Zoro chases the fairy carrying his sword up to a rooftop and reclaims it, only to topple over the side with the thief alongside him. Kin'emon, meanwhile, loses his way and finds himself ringed by enemies who seem to hold Kanjuro captive. True to his vow, Sanji takes down a concealed sniper, pleasing Violet. Aboard the Sunny, the watch crew is in the middle of a board game when an unsettling sound reaches their ears.
At the colosseum, Bartolomeo strides into the ring while the announcer paints him as savage and unhinged, recounting how he once impaled pirates during a broadcast and ranks first among people the public wishes would vanish. His bounty is given as 150 million Berries. Lifting his hands, Bartolomeo proclaims that he will send everyone straight to hell.

Zoro retrieves Shusui from the fairy thief. Kin'emon is surrounded by foes holding Kanjuro, and Sanji beats a sniper for Violet. The Sunny's guards catch a mysterious noise. Bartolomeo enters the Block B ring and menaces the crowd.
This episode introduces Guernika, Gismonda, Joseph, Wicca, and the Ato Ato no Mi. The anime adds a moment of Bartolomeo addressing the knocked-out Gambia, his run-in with Maynard, and a tease of his power as he crosses his fingers. When the strange sound reaches the Sunny, Brook and Chopper go to look and discover the men's dormitory reshaped into art. In one of his songs, Brook calls back to the zombies that filled the earlier Thriller Bark Arc. As for Bellamy, his Jolly Roger has been redrawn so a pale cross now covers the skull, replacing his former lips-and-crossbones emblem.
