Law Dies! Luffy's Raging Onslaught!

A short rewind shows Law flung to the roof's rim by Trebol's Sticky Launcher, with the executive and his captain standing over the savaged Warlord. Doflamingo belittles the whole of Law's life, the escape from the White City, the bond with Corazon, thirteen years of scheming against him, and the alliance with Luffy, then names a bargain: perform the Perennial Youth Operation and any single wish will be his.

Law pretends to accept, then demands his dead brother restored and Doflamingo kneeling before all of Dressrosa, laughing that the truly pitiful one is the Warlord and that the Straw Hats work miracles. Eight rounds answer him in scattered spots as Doflamingo mocks the name on his coat and rages that the Heart's bloodline ends now.

Elsewhere, Tank Lepanto and the King's Plateau crowd resolve to climb down to help the deposed Riku, while Viola tells Zoro and Usopp only the two foes remain on their feet. Luffy bursts up through the roof, shrugs off a jab about Bellamy, leaps the Spider's Web, and rains down Hawk Gatling, only for Break White to bury him in string. Tearing loose, he steps in spilled blood, finds Law unmoving, and hears from Doflamingo that the man is dead. As the cage shrinks, a faint voice from Law tells Luffy to listen closely.

Doflamingo offers Law immortality through the Perennial Youth Operation and is rebuffed with a demand to revive Corazon, then shoots him eight times and declares the legacy of the Heart over. Luffy returns to the rooftop, batters the Warlord with Gear Third and Hawk Gatling, and breaks out of the awakened Break White trap.

Discovering Law in a pool of blood, Luffy is told he has died. Doflamingo closes his fist to set the Birdcage contracting around the island, and as Luffy braces to keep fighting, Law's voice faintly reaches him with a final message. Break White debuts for Doflamingo and the anime-only Spring Bullet for Luffy.

Doflamingo states Law's full name, Trafalgar D. Water Law, though no version ever showed Law revealing the hidden Water element. The adaptation drops the rude gesture Law makes in the manga and already has Riku, Tank, and the citizens descending the old plateau as Viola reports the loss. Before resuming the duel the Warlord notes he could still reclaim the Ope Ope power, then shrinks the cage visibly rather than by narration. An added beat has Luffy attacking after the death is announced and basing a move on Bellamy's spring motif. A continuity wrinkle has the decoy's Smiley tattoo visible here, yet the swapped stand-in shows no such mark in the next recap. Nami is the eyecatcher.
