Let's Go See Master Nekomamushi

Riding toward the Whale Forest, Carrot, Wanda, and the rest fight off a cloud of bloodsucking Sutchies, after which Brook improvises a tune about Nekomamushi. Reaching the residential district beneath the giant tree, the group is welcomed by the Guardians and their captain Pedro, and they find Nekomamushi flouting his orders to rest. While Chopper mends his wounds, Luffy and Nami sit down with Pekoms, who tells them that Sanji's relatives are killers leading a fabled Underworld force known as Germa 66.

Partway along the ride, a horde of yellow Sutchies descends, insects deadly to the furless and able to sap even Zunesha's strength. They bring down the group's mount, but the crew rebounds, Franky luring them in with his Nipple Light and Luffy repelling a bite through Armament Haki before a combined strike scatters the swarm. Brook then offers a wistful, invented ballad about Nekomamushi and openly admits he made up every word. At the district, Roddy and Blackback apologize to Luffy for their earlier attack, and Pedro adds his thanks while quietly letting on that Sanji's plight is known to him and pledging the Guardians' help. A reindeer mink named Milky leads Chopper to Nekomamushi, who is soaking in a bath and eating lasagna against his doctor's wishes. He keeps reopening his injuries through play and is sent to bed, where Robin waves foxtail to distract him so Chopper can give the shot. Pekoms, who lived by absorbing Bege's rounds with his Devil Fruit, points to the Emperor herself and to the Vinsmoke patriarch, Sanji's father, as the wedding's architects, confirming Germa 66 is no myth.

Milky debuts in this installment. The Sutchies clash is an anime addition. Brook's song is shifted to follow the discussion about Sanji and is stretched out further. Drawing on an SBS note, the episode references Nekomamushi humming Beethoven's Fate during his bath. The sequence in which Pekoms reveals the assassin family and Germa 66 is flipped from the manga's order.
