One Man's Determination - Katakuri's Deadly Big Fight

Spotting his sister hiding within the reflection realm, Katakuri seeks her out and chastises her for tainting his duel. To cancel the wound her interference helped inflict, he sinks Mogura into his own body at the very place he had struck his rival. The two combatants then loose their conqueror's spirit together, dropping Flampe's entire entourage so they can finally clash as honest equals. Far away, Chiffon convinces Bege to head for Funwari Island and draw the Yonko clear of the crew, and as the cook and Pudding break off toward Cacao Island, the remaining Sunny crew falls under Smoothie's attack.

Convinced any cheated triumph would feel hollow, Katakuri tears off his scarf and demands his sister stop talking down to both fighters. Flampe responds only with scorn, likening his torn mouth to a pelican eel's and threatening to spread his image across the land, yet the commander, mocked the same way in childhood, says nothing and walks back to his opponent. The two then erupt with overwhelming will, knocking her followers senseless. At sea, Chiffon overturns Bege's idea of stopping at Liqueur Island and pushes for Funwari to give the Straw Hats space, and despite his crew's dread he relents. Smoothie skewers her own subordinates to absorb their liquid and balloon to enormous size, but the helmsman threads the ship through every blast. Inside the mirror again, the commander concedes he no longer regards his foe as beneath him, and after the first trade the captain reads his movement and lands a clean strike to his face.

New footage gives Flampe an additional fantasy, has Katakuri ask whether she really meddled before he stabs himself, shows Bege accepting the Funwari route, and lets Brook beg to see Smoothie's underwear. The adaptation depicts Smoothie draining her own men to grow and attributes her power to the Shibo Shibo no Mi, which the comic never clarified. The order of the apology and the paired Conqueror's bursts is flipped from print, and both the rerouting and the chase are shown before the final round rather than alongside it.
