Taking Back O-Tama - A Fierce Fight Against Holed'em!

Held within the lion Kamijiro's mouth, young Tama serves as a shield as Holed'em bellows from above, ordering Luffy, Zoro, and Kiku to surrender or watch the girl crushed. Certain the three answer to a thief called Shutenmaru, the Shinuchi sneers that Luffy wants Tama's taming gift for himself. Kiku counsels restraint, warning that an uprising could summon Jack back for vengeance, but the caution only stokes Luffy's fury. When a vessel piled with Paradise Farm's harvest rolls in under Speed's eye, the mountain of food tempts him until Tama's starvation comes to mind and his anger overflows. He points Zoro at the cargo ship, then bounds upward, raps the lion's snout, and lifts the girl away before its teeth can shut.

Speed brings the golden food ship into Bakura Town, and Hawkins rides in only to be stopped by a basket-faced swordsman who is secretly Law. Luffy frees Tama from Kamijiro an instant before the bite lands. Retaliating, Holed'em ignites his blade with the lion's fire breath and loosens it into a whip-like chain of links, boasting of his Trick Mechanism Sword as he swings. Luffy dances around the giant flaming weapon, and the sight of Tama's torn cheek drives him to wind his fist far back and drive a smoldering Red Hawk into the gifter's belly, hurling him off the roof. Zoro plows through Speed's defenders, and Kiku, briefly grabbed by a hulking pirate, sheds her gentle act, slips free, and fights at his side. Watching Luffy, Tama is reminded of his celebrated brother.

The episode debuts Holed'em's Hellfire Edge and Kamijiro's Shishi no Hi. Ahead of Luffy's blow, the adaptation lets Zoro sweep aside a cluster of enemies in one stroke; it also has Speed coat her arrows in Armament Haki and fire them at him, adds footage of the pair cutting down foes and turning away an arrow volley, and changes the manga beat where Kiku was grabbed just before Luffy struck so that a pirate takes her hostage to halt Zoro and she frees herself.
