Luffy's Determination - Win Through the Sumo Inferno!

Zoro presses on against Kyoshiro and Sanji against Drake, but the Orochi Oniwabanshu descend, having been told by Hawkins that the intruders are Straw Hats, and the ninja fan out to strike from every side. Over in Udon, Kid and Killer are strung up and dunked into a water barrel as Queen reopens the sumo match with a vicious new rule: so long as Luffy and Hyo stay in the ring, the pair remain submerged. Luffy roars for Queen to face him, but the executive keeps his distance.

At the capital prison, Law tracks down Bepo only to be cornered by Hawkins, whose Devil Fruit lets him shunt any wound onto his captives, meaning Law would have to slay his own three crewmen before touching him. When Hiyori cries out under a ninja assault, Sanji ends his duel fast with his fiery Extra Hachis, then races to her, though Zoro reaches her first and carries her off. Outside the prison gates, Big Mom at last arrives, hungry for her red bean soup.

The Orochi Oniwabanshu join the execution-ground battle against the crew. Queen ties Kid and Killer's survival to the sumo bout, keeping them underwater. Hawkins reveals his Wara Wara no Mi can redirect harm onto Shachi, Penguin, and Bepo, trapping Law. Sanji defeats Drake with Diable Jambe, and Zoro rescues Hiyori. Big Mom reaches the Prisoner Mines. Jigoku Benten debuts Ninpo: Jigoku Biwa.

The adaptation adds Kyoshiro vanishing in smoke as the ninja appear, Brook stepping in to shield Nami, Robin, and Usopp, and Hawkins wounding Law's arm with his power. Both the Zoro and Sanji duels are lengthened, as is Hawkins' explanation of his ability. Notably, Sanji overpowers Drake with Diable Jambe here, while in the manga he simply fled, and Zoro only shoves Raijin aside rather than cutting him. The episode is part of the Wano Country Arc.
