Festival Pirates

The Festival Pirates are a non-canon crew under the command of Buena Festa, appearing in One Piece: Stampede. Their banner shows a skull wearing a black bicorn hat with red goggles pushed up over its brow, the same design that doubles as the symbol of the Pirates Festival itself.

The group counts many members busy running the festival, though only two have been identified by name: the captain Buena Festa and Tabi. Beyond their leader, the crew remains largely faceless, defined by the event they stage rather than by individual figures.

In their heyday the Festival Pirates were a celebrated crew that specialized in arranging lavish gatherings, mixing merchants with Underworld dealings. That reputation faded after Gol D. Roger's execution, when Festa vanished into hiding and was widely presumed dead.

His return came through Douglas Bullet, who tracked him down, after which the two began plotting the Pirates Festival together. Their plan was a trap with two purposes layered atop one another, Bullet seeking to slaughter the lured pirates and Festa hoping to ride that bloodshed into a new age of his own making.

Buena Festa heads the crew, and Tabi is the only other named member. Festa launched the festival on Delta Island and went so far as to contact Marine Headquarters, calling down a Buster Call to seal the gathered pirates into his trap.

The scheme came undone when Monkey D. Luffy defeated Bullet. With his grand design in ruins, Festa was left to mourn the collapse of his ambitions before Sabo confronted and captured him.
