Overview

The Hyougoro Family was a yakuza organization that held power in the Flower Capital of Wano Country generations ago, all of it under the boss Hyougoro. The gang took the kanji for leopard from its leader's name as its emblem. Though few details about the group survive, Hyougoro's authority was sweeping enough that he was said to command the entire Flower Capital underworld and to carry weight with the yakuza bosses of Wano's other regions.

Role

Even at its height, the family did not stand alone in the capital. A rival outfit called the Kurokoma Family operated in the same territory, and its boss Kurokoma schemed to wipe out Hyougoro by luring the dreaded Mountain God into the conflict. One notable brush with the family came roughly four decades back, when a young Kin'emon made off with some of their money. Hyougoro ordered his men to capture and flay the thief, yet cautioned them never to face Kin'emon one against one, since the swordsman outmatched any single member of the gang.
