A yakuza outfit that once ruled the underworld of Wano's Flower Capital, the Hyougoro Family answered to the legendary boss Hyougoro. Its grip lasted until its leader was thrown behind bars, after which a rival family claimed the streets.
The Hyougoro Family was a yakuza organization that held power in the Flower Capital of Wano Country generations ago, all of it under the boss Hyougoro. The gang took the kanji for leopard from its leader's name as its emblem. Though few details about the group survive, Hyougoro's authority was sweeping enough that he was said to command the entire Flower Capital underworld and to carry weight with the yakuza bosses of Wano's other regions.
Even at its height, the family did not stand alone in the capital. The family was broken up after Hyougoro was imprisoned about twenty years ago, and the Kyoshiro Family later rose to take its place as the dominant yakuza power in the Flower Capital.
