Nagels Pirates

Operating out of the North Blue, the Nagels Pirates are a non-canon band first referenced in the novel Law: The Hour of Kikoku. Their roster carries an unusually heavy concentration of wanted men, counting at least twenty bounty heads, and the crew fields enough fighters to outmatch half an island's defenders. Only two members are named on record: the captain, Nagels, and Sheronia, whose combined bounties total no less than 62,000,000 Berries, with Nagels alone accounting for 60,000,000 of that figure.

The crew's signature feat is raw conquest. Roughly two years before the novel begins, Nagels led them in an assault on the northern half of Welbems Island, and through sheer numbers and force they took full control of the region in less than three months. Nagels then founded a kingdom named for himself and ruled the captured north. Hungry for the rest of the island, the pirates mounted repeated raids against the southern half, but the combined resistance of Hakkuro Village and its neighboring settlements turned them back every time. When the novel opens, they commit to a far larger campaign, sending an army against the south by both land and sea in a single coordinated push.

Nagels captains the crew and reigns as the self-styled king of the territory they seized, carrying the heaviest bounty among them. Sheronia is the only other identified member, wanted for a comparatively modest 2,000,000 Berries. Beyond these two, the bulk of the crew remains unnamed, though their numbers and the large pool of bounties in their ranks point to a formidable fighting force.
