Shepherd Family

Counted among the royal lines that make up the World Nobles, the Shepherd Family carries the blood that grants its members the loftiest standing within the World Government. Of the several families that presently hold seats on the Five Elders, this house is one, its place there occupied by Shepherd Ju Peter. The lineage additionally provides at least one figure to the Knights of God.

Through Shepherd Ju Peter's seat, the family exercises direct authority at the very top of the World Government's ruling body. Membership in the Knights of God, filled by at least one relative, extends the house's reach into that order as well. As World Nobles of royal descent, the Shepherds sit above the ordinary hierarchy that governs the wider world.

Two relatives are known so far. Shepherd Ju Peter represents the family on the Five Elders, while Shepherd Sommers is the other recorded member. Sommers took part in the Native Hunting Competition held at God Valley thirty-eight years earlier. When a relative asked him to win Shakuyaku for her during that contest, he brushed the request aside and declared instead that she would become his wife.
