Nanashaku Jitte

Smoker relies on this long jitte as his main armament. Its defining feature is a Seastone tip, the material that neutralizes Devil Fruit abilities, which he exploits to break down opponents and bring them in. The name references the shaku, a Japanese unit of length, marking the weapon at roughly 2.12 meters long.

Because Seastone forms the tip, a single touch is enough to shut off a Devil Fruit power, sapping the target's energy and slowing them down. Smoker pairs this with his own Moku Moku no Mi, slipping in as smoke to close the distance before landing a solid hit. The weapon's makeup means it stays solid even when its owner dissolves into vapor. He can also pour Armament Haki into the jitte, darkening it, hardening it further, and adding considerable striking force. His named technique, White Launcher, has him surge forward as smoke, reform, and pin the enemy beneath the jitte, a move he first used on Luffy at Marineford. Several extra strikes such as Jitte Ranbu and White Hound exist only in video games.

The jitte is exclusively Smoker's. Its history is marked by repeated destruction: Boa Hancock shattered it with a kick after petrifying it during the Summit War, yet he was wielding it again two years later, apparently repaired or swapped for the spare from his office wall. Vergo then snapped it once more with his Oni Take. The anime initially gave it a dark gray body and brown hilt before correcting the colors after the timeskip to match the manga's white scheme.
