Raid Suits are combat outfits engineered in the Germa Kingdom and reserved for the Vinsmoke Family, its royals and Germa 66 commanders. Each suit hugely amplifies the wearer's fighting power, shrugs off fire and bullets, and grants one unique personal ability.
These are technologically enhanced battle uniforms created in the Germa Kingdom and worn only by its royal line and military leaders, the Vinsmoke Family. Every suit is individualized in cut and color, from Judge's grey coat and orange cloak to Reiju's pink dress with butterfly-wing cape, the numbered shirts of Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji, and the black masked suit made for Sanji. Each wearer's gear carries jet-propelled boots and a personal cloak.
While stored, a suit folds into a colored cylindrical canister stamped with its owner's mark. Holding the canister at waist level makes it spin open and release shape-memory material that wraps the body into the finished suit, and the canisters are biometrically locked so only the assigned owner can use one. The canisters are fragile, though: enough damage triggers an explosion that destroys the contents, as happened when Sanji stomped his own to pieces.
The suits are powerful enough that keeping pace with a wearer is said to require wearing one too, and they sharply boost the user's natural combat ability. Without them the Vinsmoke sons doubted they could handle the Big Mom Pirates, yet suited up they fought back against the crew's top fighters and broke free of Perospero's candy. They resist fire, letting wearers endure flame attacks, and even shielded Reiju somewhat from Big Mom's Heavenly Feuer.
The boots carry heel accelerators and sole floats for hovering, long leaps, and stronger kicks, while the capes are bulletproof against ordinary fire, though special Gatling rounds eventually pierced them. Each suit also grants one signature power: Reiju's Poison Pink, Ichiji's Sparking Red explosions, Niji's electric Dengeki Blue, Yonji's Winch Green grip, and Sanji's invisibility, Stealth Black. Repeated use began awakening in Sanji the same genetic modifications his siblings carry, prompting him to reject and destroy his suit rather than risk losing his capacity for warmth.
The suits belong to the Vinsmoke Family: Judge, Reiju, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji of Germa 66, plus Sanji, who received one despite not serving the kingdom. Sanji used his to fight as the masked hero O-Soba Mask before crushing it. On the color spread of Chapter 872 the Straw Hats were drawn in matching Mugiwara 56 suits, and the technology echoes the Super Sentai franchise that inspired it, with Sanji's invisibility nodding to a Black Ranger counterpart.

A Raid Suit is a technologically enhanced combat outfit engineered in the Germa Kingdom and worn only by the Vinsmoke Family, sharply boosting the wearer's fighting power while resisting fire and bullets.
Sanji received a Raid Suit as a member of the Vinsmoke Family by blood, despite not actively serving the Germa Kingdom, letting him fight alongside his siblings against the Big Mom Pirates.
Sanji's Raid Suit grants him Stealth Black, an invisibility power he used to fight as the masked hero O-Soba Mask before ultimately destroying his own suit.
A stored Raid Suit folds into a colored cylindrical canister marked with its owner's symbol; holding it at waist level makes it spin open and release shape-memory material that wraps around the body, and the canister is biometrically locked to its assigned owner.
Each Raid Suit grants a unique power: Reiju's Poison Pink, Ichiji's Sparking Red explosions, Niji's electric Dengeki Blue, Yonji's Winch Green grip, and Sanji's invisibility, Stealth Black.
