Chapter 1093

Spinning Kizaru and flinging him well clear of the Control Tower, Luffy opens a moment for the others to scatter. Atlas sets off for the Fabiriophase to seize back command of the Pacifista Mark III, aware that the machines will block any getaway. Vegapunk goes with her, telling Franky over the line that Bonney has survived but lies stranded down on the Fabiriophase. Volunteering for the rescue, Sanji comes along, Jinbe collects the doctor's bags, and the group is told to regroup at the rear exit.

Down below, the Marines comb the area for Bonney, who disables one after another by warping their ages with her Devil Fruit. Crouched in hiding, she eyes the unconscious Sentomaru and recalls the way she was caught by him following her crash into the dome barrier, after which she dropped and blacked out once more. Elsewhere, Luffy catches sight of Zoro, locked in his King of Hell form against Lucci, who sneers that finishing off Luffy's so-called second-in-command would suit him just fine.

Kizaru steadies himself short of the sea and streaks back to the island with Yasakani no Magatama, then fractures into duplicates of himself that conjure Ama no Murakumo light blades against Luffy. The swords barely scratch him; he answers with Gomu Gomu no Dawn Whip, scrapping a few, then baits the copies into a row meant for Gomu Gomu no Dawn Stamp. He realizes too late that the clones were only a distraction, long enough for the real Kizaru to slip back to the tower and grab Usopp.

Noticing Vegapunk gone, both Luffy and Kizaru spot him and Atlas riding the Vegatank-08 with Sanji clinging to its side. The doctor proclaims he is off to save Bonney, Kizaru fires, and Luffy throws himself into the blast. Franky catches up and has Lilith deploy General Franky to lift the ship. Word reaches the Marines along the shore that Vegapunk has departed the Labophase; Edison partly powers down the Frontier Dome to let him slip out, and Atlas issues fresh orders for the Pacifista to wipe every Marine from the island.

An Egghead Arc chapter, it advances the parallel duels of Luffy versus Kizaru and Zoro versus Lucci. It establishes that Sentomaru rescued Bonney from her plunge off the Labophase before collapsing. The cover honors a request showing tarsier brothers swiping Koby and Helmeppo's eyewear.
