Chapter 1165

Confirming they both heard the same desperate voice, Garp and Roger battle the demonized Rocks, who throws them into the ruined mountains and splits the sky despite their Haki-charged blows. Kyo and his men steal Rocks' ship to flee, while Shiki declares the Rocks Pirates finished. Both Garp and Roger order their crews to leave without them and shed their coats, lamenting how far their plans have strayed: Garp had wanted to arrest both captains, Roger only sought Shakky and treasure.

The crews scatter, Gloriosa hitching a ride with the Roger Pirates and Linlin warning Kaidou he now owes her for the stolen fruit, which he dismisses. Newgate brushes off a fan named Polo Gram, and Dragon holds his squad captain at gunpoint to force civilians aboard. As Imu departs while still wearing Saturn, ordering all records erased, the event becomes the "God Valley Incident", scrubbed entirely by G-11 and CP6 and stamped S-Level Top Secret. Roger then shares that Armament Haki counters Devil Fruit powers and that his Supreme King Haki has been wounding Rocks, only for Rocks to cancel it with his own. Concluding that only greater "mass" of Conqueror's Haki will win the war of attrition, Garp and Roger pour their remaining strength into one overwhelming assault that finally defeats Rocks.

Garp and Roger declare a truce until the demonized Rocks is beaten, their sheer Haki tearing apart what remains of God Valley. Shiki officially disbands the Rocks Pirates, and the survivors gather treasure and flee. Linlin presses her debt on Kaidou, who vows to start a crew ruled by brutality, while Newgate rebuffs Polo Gram, a pirate strongly resembling an older Marco. Gill Bastar is revealed as a former Horo Horo no Mi holder.

Dragon forces the Marines at gunpoint to evacuate civilians. Imu, still possessing Saturn, orders every God Valley record destroyed, and the Narrator confirms CP6 and G-11 purged the inhabitants' names, the island's location and size, and the casualty count. Roger invites Garp to join his crew; Garp refuses to protect the rank-and-file. Roger confirms Conqueror's Haki infusion can boost defense as well as offense, and the two channel all their Haki into a single decisive attack that fells Rocks.

This chapter sits within the Elbaph Arc's God Valley flashback. The cover grants a request showing Bepo asleep using Zeus as a pillow. The narration closes by stressing that, despite the cover-up, Rocks and his volatile crew left echoes that shaped the world into its present form.
