The Village Hidden in the Cloud

The clash between Gan Fall and Shura carries on while, elsewhere, a small girl drifts across the clouds and reaches a settlement tucked away inside them, home to the Shandia. Named Aisa, she is met by one of the village warriors who warns her that any further trips to Upper Yard will get her killed. The rest of the fighters talk over Gan Fall's skirmish, counting both him and Enel as enemies and hoping the pair wipe each other out. Their masked raider is now revealed to be Wyper, a descendant of the legendary Shandia hero Kalgara.

Deeper in the woods, Zoro, Nami, and Robin keep moving until Robin comes upon ruins that seize her curiosity. A river blocks the way forward, and Nami raises her binoculars to make out the distant stretch called Upper Yard. At the altar, Chopper gapes at the blinding speed of the two combatants. Gan Fall abruptly loses control of his body, bound up by the string-based ordeal Shura wields, and the helpless former God takes a killing wound from the priest's lance. His final words charge Chopper to bring down the self-styled God along with the priests under him, doing it on behalf of all who have already perished. Elsewhere at that moment, Pagaya proposes to Conis that they build something to help the Straw Hats.

This chapter formally presents the Shandia, and Shura defeats Gan Fall. The cover depicts Wapol drawing on his Baku Baku powers to merge riverside scrap and stray animals into odd new toys. Among those appearing are Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and Robin, the Skypieans Gan Fall, Pierre, Conis, and Pagaya, the priest Shura with Fuza, and the Shandia, namely Aisa, Raki, Genbo, Braham, Kamakiri, and Wyper, with Wapol and Hakowan on the cover.
