Chapter 260

Aboard the Going Merry, a frantic Usopp believes Sanji dead until Nami points out his hand is on the wrong side of the chest, and relief floods him when he finally feels a heartbeat. Fed up with the sniper's hysterics, Enel kills him with a single touch to the forehead, leaving his body smoking like Sanji's. Gan Fall demands to know Enel's intentions, and the self-styled god explains that the labor of his followers is nearly complete, so he has only come to bid farewell before departing the island.

Enel reveals that he, the Straw Hats, and the Shandia all chase the same prize: the fabled Golden City of Shandora. He declares the survival game's victor will claim the gold and, since he is a player himself, must take part. He disappears in a flash, and moments later two new attackers who laugh like Satori board the Merry. The chapter finally names the City of Gold as Shandora.

In Upper Yard, Luffy and Wyper's brawl ignites. Wyper loads a breath dial to unveil his burn bazooka, which spits white flames that blow a massive hole through a tree and barely miss Luffy. The two trade kicks and rubber attacks, with Wyper blocking Luffy's stamps using his waver-shod foot. When Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Bazooka and Wyper's burn blast land at the same instant, both are hurled into a tree, battered yet eager to keep fighting.
